On that day, I was watching CNN on TV in the living room, and then, the breaking news came in, showing two airplanes smashed into the World Tread Center buildings. Far away from Japan, it was like a move scene. I couldn’t believe it was real. I immediately contacted my American friend with whom I was exchanging languages because her hometown was Conneticut, next to NY. Few days later when I met her, she told me that 9/11 attacks itself devastated her, but besides that, the fact nobody in her workplace didn’t care about her was really heartbreaking. She was working in a junior high school as an English Language Teacher.These are photos I took in Ground Zero about 10years later after the 9/11
