Blessed Farm in Kaminagawa-cho, Date-city donated about 700 pumpkins to the Food Bank Iburi. They were distributed to a child support group in Shiraoi and a children's cafeteria in Tomakomai. I'm not sure if I'm going to be able to get a job at a supermarket because of the damage to the pumpkins, but it's difficult to sell them. Mr. Yoshihiro Ueno of the farm felt that the pumpkins were "a waste," so he consulted an acquaintance, who in turn told him about the project to the Food Bank Iburi through the Date City Council of Social Welfare. They were distributed to children's cafeterias and maternal and child welfare associations in Muroran, Noboribetsu and Date. A producer said, "We grew
