All mankind is the same in that we are all driven by the blind passions, such as greed, anger, envy and jealousy.
However, unless we see ourselves in the Mirror of Dharma, we don't know that we are entirely made of blind passions.
Master Shinran said the following: “I am false and deceitful, completely lacking a mind of purity.”
When he looked into his own mind, he found no such pure mind.
We are entirely made of blind passions from head to toe. Everything we think, say, and do is blind passions.
