"Love is Blind"
This is a saying used to say that people do not see the faults
(=欠点) of the people that they love.
In Japanese, it can translate to あばたもえくぼ or 恋は盲目.
This phrase also happens to be the title of an addictive (=中毒性がある) Netflix reality show.
The whole premise (=前提）of this show is to see if love really is blind.
30 men and women hoping to find love date each other for 10 days in different "pods" where they can talk to each other but not see each
other. Whenever they decide, the men are able to propose to the
woman they want to marry.
After the proposal, they meet face to face(＝直接) for the first time!
The couples then go on a retreat, move into the same apartment,
meet their partners' families and explore their partners' living
conditions.
On the day of the wedding, the engaged couples carry out（＝行う・実行する) wedding ceremonies and make their final decisions at the
altar(=祭壇） about whether to split up or get married👰🤵
There are currently two seasons of this show.

It is such a crazy show but I have to admit I became really invested in
the cast members(=出演者に感情を注ぎ込んだ）and binge-watched
(=一気見) the first season in one night🎥
It is definitely a guilty pleasure (＝罪悪感のある喜び）of mine.
