お陰様で先日息子は無事満2歳の誕生日を迎えることが出来ました。お祝いして下さった方々、いつも支えて下さる家族と友人には感謝の気持ちで一杯です。

主語が第一人称の時は、probably等の副詞を足すと、推量で用いられている事がより明確になります。
probably
I'll probably be home late tonight.
主語が第二人称、第三人称の時は、推量で用いられている事が殆どです。以下の表現と共に練習してみましょう:)
I'm sure
Don't worry about the exam. I'm sure you'll pass.
I think
Do you think Sarah will like the present we bought for her?
I don't think
I don't think the exam will be very difficult.
I wonder
I wonder what will happen.
次に以下の例文をみてください。willはどの意味で用いられていますか。
1.
A: Did you call Max?
B: Oh no, I forgot. I'll call him now. (その場で決めて約束していますか? 推量ですか?)
2.
A: Where will you be this time next year? (お願いですか? 推量ですか?)
B: I will be in Japan. (その場で決めて約束していますか? 推量ですか?)
3.
A: I will meet you at half past ten, OK? (その場で決めて約束していますか? 推量ですか?)
B: Fine. See you then.
4.
A: Remember to lock the door when you go out.
B: OK. I won't forget. (その場で決めて約束していますか? 拒否ですか? 推量ですか?)
