気が付けば9月も中旬、街には早くもカボチャが生え始めましたね笑 夏の終わりが足早に近づいております。
子供達は夏休み明けのテストを終え、語学学習者は10月に英検、12月に日本語能力試験、大人はご出張やプロモーションに大忙しと存じます。
先日2歳の息子を数日間crecheで預かって頂ける機会がありました。元々outgoingな性格ではありますが、初めての環境にも関わらず同年代の子達と先生と堂々と交流する姿は圧巻でした。sociabilityとlanguage abilityの向上も顕著で、精神的な重圧を除けば、早期に他者との関わりを意識させることは彼にとってplusなのかもしれません。などと、私は未だ家庭と仕事の両立に四苦八苦する毎日です笑
それでは、本日も基本英文法の解説に参りましょう。日本語話者の視点から英語を分析します。
will have done - 法助動詞のwillと動詞のhaveと過去分詞 (3段活用の3段目)のコンビネーション - (未来完了形?)
この句も参考書によって呼称や解説が若干異なります。未来完了形?と呼ばれる傾向が強い様です。構文的にはwillと現在完了形のコンビネーションです。
今回も正確な理解にはwillの復習が不可欠です。レッツチャレンジ - 基本英文法の24から28をご参考ください。
will have doneは未来のある時点までに特定の行動や事象が完結するだろうと予測を表現する際に用いられます。
例えば、
By 8 p.m., I will have finished my homework.
8時までにはやり終えているという推量です。
She will have cooked dinner before her parents come home.
両親が帰宅するまでには作り終えているという推量です。
We will have left the house by the time you arrive.
By next week, the teacher will have graded all the exams.
He will have completed his project before the deadline.
They will have studied English for five years by next March.
By the time the plane lands, we will have traveled for 12 hours.
She will have visited three countries by the end of her trip.
We will have reached the hotel before midnight.
By 2030, scientists will have discovered new cures.
He will have worked at this company for 20 years by next summer.
You will have learned a lot of English by the end of this course.
格助詞の「まで+に」は、前置詞のbyまたはby the timeで表現します。
