I think that... を連発してませんか？

英検のライティングや課題のエッセイで「私は〜だと思います」 って書くこと多いと思います。

でも ”I think …” とか連発してません？

英検だと同じ言い回しを使いすぎると点が 伸びないですもんね。

そこで “be of the opinion” 「〜という意見である」

これは便利だと思います。

I am of the opinion that the world will be a better place. 

(世界はより良い場所になるだろうと思います。)

I am of the opinion that novel coronavirus will destroy the world unless everyone gets united to tackle this problem. 

(みんなが協力してこの問題に取り組まなければ、新型コロナウイルスは世界を崩壊させると私は考えます。)
