金融教育は高校で義務化すべきか？

近年、多くの国で金融教育への関心が高まっている。賛成派は、若者が将来の金銭トラブルを避け、経済格差の縮小にも役立つと考えている。

However, not everyone agrees that financial literacy should become a required subject. Some educators argue that school curricula are already overcrowded and that adding another mandatory course could reduce time for other important subjects. Others question whether financial education alone can significantly change people's financial behavior, pointing out that economic circumstances and access to financial advice also play important roles.

一方で、金融教育の必修化に反対する意見もある。学校の授業時間には限りがあり、金融教育だけで行動を大きく変えられるわけではないという指摘がある。

Despite these concerns, many governments continue to expand financial education programs. As financial products and investment opportunities become more complex, understanding how money works is increasingly viewed as an essential life skill. The debate is likely to continue, but financial literacy is becoming a more important part of modern education around the world.
