LAN・WAN
There are many different types of computer networks for each purpose.
（１）WAN
WAN is a wide area network that covers a national or international region
without limiting the region.
（２）LAN
LAN is a local area network within a geographically limited area.
■ About LAN connection type
LAN can be classified into two types.
・Client-server LAN
・Peer-to-peer LAN
The client-server LAN is mainly used.

コンピュータネットワークには、それぞれの目的に即した多様な種類があります。
（１）WAN
WAN（Wide Area Network：広域ネットワーク）は、地域を制限せず、全国的もしくは国際的な地域をカバーする広域のネットワークのことです。
（２）LAN
LAN（Local Area Network：構内通信網）は、地理的に限定された範囲内で
ネットワーク化したものです。

LANは、
・クライアントサーバ型LAN
・ピアツーピア型LAN
の２つに分類できます。主に利用されているのはクライアントサーバ型LANです。

クライアント・・・サービスを受ける側
