【2級ライティング便利表現57】proceed

「進める・進む」という動詞です。

一度は目にしたこともあるかもしれませんね。

1つ目の例文のように「～を進める」と言いたい時には with がよくくっつきます。

覚えておきたいですね。

In order to ensure a successful outcome, it is crucial to proceed with the project in a systematic and organized manner.

（良い成果を確かにするためには、プロジェクトを体系的かつ組織立った手順で進めることが重要である。）

To begin our exploration of renewable energy sources, we should first understand their importance, and then proceed to examine specific examples such as solar and wind power.

（再生可能エネルギー源の探求を始めるにあたり、まずはその重要性を理解し、それから太陽光や風力などの具体的な例を検討していくべきだ。）

そういえば何かのゲームを英語版で遊んでいた時に “proceed with caution.” (注意して進んで！)と何度も言われた気がします。
