You may often see the players protecting in batting practice, on the bench during the game, protecting during the game vocalizing “sa-ko-i”, “sa-iko-ze-”, “sa-ikimasyou-” etcetera. When the voice disappears and it gets quiet, the director, coach, and senior says "Let's have voice" "There is not voice". And then everyone says “sa-ko-i” again, after a while it will be quiet again. And from the director, coach, and senior … You may see and experienced this repetition. Do you think that this voice is necessary?
It would be nice if each player voluntarily thought from the bottom of his heart, vocalizing “sa-ko-i” or something, but clearly, I think that is told words. There are sometimes say that reason of loses the game is not vocalized. If player will hit the ball, and will win the game by vocalizing they will not struggle. I think that there is temporary situation that players are cheered or raised, that the feelings become bullish and that players are more than usual and that players can hit and be suppressed. But there will not always be such a thing. First of all, it is that there is ability.
It is a bit thing, if a director or a coach says that the reason of losing is because not vocalized. It seems like the coach admit it without admitting his/her responsibility. Okay then it will say whether the team can win if players vocalizing the next game. Before care about vocalizing, it would be ahead to teach how to hit more, to be thrown quickly. Of course, I think that there are few instructors who make a problem only with the vocalizing. However, it seems that it is hard to say a coach have leadership who cares too much about vocalizing. Also, if players do not vocalizing and are quiet during game or practice, it is said to be “vocalizing”, but the players are distracted by vocalizing or fear to be angered as “vocalizing” and cannot concentrate on real baseball. There are a lot of things to imagine and analyze in baseball game, such as do not pull this batter, next are going to run, next will be double play etcetera. If players concentrate on these things, they do not have time to vocalizing. When saying “vocalizing”, you just increase the possibility of losing your team yourself.
The most important thing is to focus on the original baseball. Voices concerning the original baseball are important, including voices of cooperation with teammates, voices of encouraging teammates, advice to teammates. If such a voice concentrates on baseball, it will come out naturally. This is a voluntary voice from the heart of each player. This is important.
Is it necessary to vocalizing meaningless voice?
