「凝縮する」という意味の動詞で、condensed milk（練乳）は聞き覚えある方もいらっしゃるかもしれませんね。

「凝縮する」の他にも「（文章などを）要約する」という意味もあります。

英検ライティングでは次のように使えますね。

Scientific textbooks often condense vast amounts of research findings into concise explanations, aiding students in grasping complex concepts efficiently.
