coalitionは「連合・同盟」という意味の名詞で、

collision「衝突・激突」と非常に似ていて注意が必要ですね。

多少無理やりですが、ライティングに落とし込むなら、次のように使えるかなと思います。

A coalition of environmental organizations worked tirelessly to advocate for better energy policies, resulting in significant progress towards reducing carbon emissions.

（より良いエネルギー政策を提唱するため、環境団体連合は精力的に活動し、二酸化炭素排出削減に向けた重要な進展をもたらした。）
