【準1ライティング便利表現㉖】compulsory

「強制的な・義務の」という形容詞の compulsory

英検準1級からよく目にしますが、「義務教育」というニュアンスで、ライティングでも使える表現だと思います。

よろしければ以下の文を参考にしてみてください。

Compulsory education should be extended to include high school because more academic skills can be learned.

（より学術的なスキルが学べるので、義務教育は高校まで含むよう延長すべきである。）

Since the number of accidents during work time continues to increase, all companies in manufacture industry must have a compulsory safety course for their employees.

（勤務中の事故数が増え続けているので、製造業の全ての会社は従業員のために安全についての必修コースを設けなければならない。）

ちなみに自動車損害賠償責任保険、通称「自賠責」は英語でcompulsory auto liability insurance

強制保険なので、compulsory が使われていますね。
