【準1ライティング便利表現⑤】復興する・修復する

英検準1級では、都市vs田舎や歴史や観光名所などのTOPICが頻繁に出題されます。

そんな時「～によって田舎を復興することができる」や「日本の歴史的建造物を修復することは～」など、「復興する」「修復する」は便利な表現になると思います。

これを表す単語は restore ですね。以下のように使えます。

Restoring Japanese historic buildings will positively influence on tourism industry.

（歴史的建造物を修復することは、観光業に良い影響をもたらすだろう。）

Since a large area can be purchased at cheaper cost at rural areas, if a shopping mall is constructed, it will not only attract customers from other prefectures but also increase employment rate and restore the area.

（田舎には大きな土地が安く手に入るので、ショッピングモールを建設すればお客さんを県外から呼び寄せるだけでなく、雇用率向上にもつながり、田舎を復興することができる。）
