絶妙な仕業 Fine Work of Nature

大雨が降ると山の様子が心配になります。この日のトレイルメンテナンスの課題はこれ。

フジの蔦が絡まる大きめの木がトレイルをまたぐように倒れていました。藤の花の季節は終わっていますが、なんだか風情のある姿です。

普段なら木をいくつかに切ってトレイルのそばに寄せておくのですが、この日は迷いつつもしばらくはこのままで様子を見ることにしました。

こんなトンネルを自転車でくぐるのも乙かもしれません。

Checking the trails after a day of heavy rain fall and wind, we ran into this beautiful issue.  A tree covered with vines had fallen over a trail.  We wondered and at the end decided leave it as it is for now.  We think itmay be something special and exciting to go through this tunnel on a bike during our ride.
