We can gain skills while training something, but talents are potential ability. So, it is the thing that we have had since we were born. I mean we cannot get it even though we made effort to acquire it.
Yes, I have computer skill because I was a computer engineer before. I had been it for seven years. So, I am familiar with programming and typing. I can type on a computer without seeing a keyboard.
Yes, I have. I am good at sports. I can run and swim fast. Besides, I play almost all sports well. I was the strongest badminton player in our school club when I was in junior high school. I have never tried playing it before joining the club. So, I believe that I am talented in that sport.
4. How did you manage to become good with your skills?
When it comes to typing, I have been trying to do that every day. The skill began to decline after quitting my job. I had noticed that, and I was afraid of losing it. So, I decided to use my computer to remain the records of my study of English. It is helpful to keep my typing skill.
5. What skill do you have that you want to teach to others? Why?
I want to teach English to others in the future, also Japanese as well. I am interested in Languages because they are profound for me. They are complicated and tricky, but it makes me excited. I feel enjoyment when I get the things that I couldn’t understand. So, I want to learn about them more. I want to tell others about the excitement and wonderfulness of them.
I want to gain the skill of editing a video. It is because I started a YouTube channel this year. I have been editing my videos by myself. But the quality of it is much poor than other YouTube videos. Besides, it takes a lot of time to finish doing it. I think I can save time if I have the skill. I want to learn it after a while since I am afraid that I lose interest in it. Now I have posted a video about how to learn English every day. I am going to continue that at least for a month. Then, I plan to buy an application to edit a video and learn about how to do it excellently. There are a lot of YouTube videos and websites that show it. So, I will watch them to gain the skill.
Part3
1. Do you think the school where a person graduated can be a factor of his/her skill development? Why or why not?
Of course, they can be. We can learn a bunch of things from school. Besides, the students who are enthusiastic about the skill can get a qualification. For example, I took an examination of teaching Japanese and failed it. However, I can get a qualification if I take four hundred-twenty hours lessons in a specialized school.
2. Do you think skills is the primary factor for hiring applicants in your country?
No, it depends on the vacant of the job. The primary requirement for hiring people of my previous company was personality. An applicant who was lazy and unenthusiastic for the job were never hired even if he or she had an excellent computer skill. Also, a receptionist is basically hired depending on the appearance, not the skill.
3. There is a proverb that says, "When it comes to mastering a skill, time is the magic ingredient." Do you agree?
I don’t agree with it. I believe we need to place an emphasis on a way, not time. We cannot get a skill if we continue to do the wrong way. It is just wasting time. We should consider the best way to master a skill.
