Yes, I try to make my lifestyle active. I don’t like a passive activity such as watching a TV just as entertainment. However, I used to do that a lot. I spend my time doing that when I was a computer engineer. I just didn’t want to think anything after going back home and on my day off. I wasted time in those days. I regret that. So, now I never do that. I train my listening skill, do my writing assignment, take an online English lesson. Besides, I write some articles with my blog about how to learn English every day. Also, I started to shoot and edit my YouTube video from this year. Those activities are creative and active. So, I can feel satisfied after doing those things.
2. Do you have a healthy lifestyle? Why or why not?
No, I never have a healthy lifestyle. I always go to bed around three or four a.m. and get up at noon. I don’t eat anything but drink some water after that. I eat something at three p.m. I have dinner at nine. My routine is far from the classic healthy lifestyle. However, this style is suitable for me. That’s why I hardly get sick these days.
Natto which is Japanese food is the most healthy food for me. It includes rich proteins. Besides, it doesn’t include so much fat and sugar. It is excellent for the person who wants to lose weight because it doesn’t have so many calories. We can feel fullness after eating it, so we can also avoid eating too much. I often eat it for dinner.
4. How do you keep your body fit and in good shape?
I try to drink as much water as possible instead of coffee or juice. I always drink more than two liters of water a day. I have never gained weight so much since I began that custom. Besides, I stretch my body after taking a bath. I can improve the circulation of my blood. So, it also makes me keep my body fit.
5. When not working, what other activities make you busy?
I don’t have a job now. But watching Japanese TV series was an activity that made me busy when I worked. I was really into them, so I had a favorite TV series a day. I was busy following them though I think it was meaningless.
My lifestyle is quite different from others’. My cost of living is much cheaper than others. It is because I don’t own my apartment and car. I don’t need to pay the bill for electricity, gas, water, and the Internet. It is because I live in my parents’ home or hotel. One of the reasons why I began that lifestyle is that I have been influenced by a Japanese YouTuber. He lives in Thailand. He said that his living cost is far lower than in Japan. He also said that we can choose any lifestyle we like though we tend to follow the classic lifestyle. I like his thought. I want to pursue the best lifestyle for me, not for others. There are lots of advantages to my lifestyle. Firstly, I can move to somewhere I want anytime freely. It means I can travel anytime. Secondly, I can save money by staying in a hotel instead of my apartment. There is a special crusade for travelers in Japan. We can stay in a hotel at half price.
Part3
1. Do you think that people in your country have a healthy lifestyle?
Yes, I believe so. Relatively, Japanese people tend to eat less than foreigners. Besides, Japanese food is well-known as the most healthy food all over the world. It is not so oily. The taste is very simple. Then, there is another reason. Japanese try to avoid going to a fast-food restaurant. Because we recognize that it is not good for our health. For me, I go to that kind of restaurant only once a season.
2. Do you think the person's style of life and the duration of his life are related?
Yes, I think so. I believe lifestyle, especially, dietary habits are related to how long we can live. For instance, commonly, it is said that Japanese people can live longer than foreigners. Many specialists in nutrition say that it is thanks to Japanese food.
3. There is a proverb that says, "You are what your lifestyle is" Do you agree?
Yes, I agree with this. Our personality is related to our lifestyle. Let me give an example. Generally, a person who can manage his time is prone to be punctual but impatient. On the other hand, a person who doesn’t have a daily routine sternly is prone to be late but patient. Our lifestyle often reflects ourselves.
