減築によって生み出された2つの中庭はアーチの回廊で囲まれ、漆喰の白と瓦の黒による歴史的伝統建造物群の街並みの中にあり、レンガの赤とスタッコの白が際立つ倉敷ならではの「新旧調和」を実践されています。中庭を囲むレンガ壁はアイビーに覆われ、他に類を見ない、静謐な空間として人々に親しまれています。
The two courtyards created through renovation are surrounded by arched corridors and are nestled within the historical traditional buildings of a town characterized by white plaster and black tiles. This embodies the unique "harmony of old and new" specific to Kurashiki, with red bricks and white stucco standing out. The brick walls encircling the courtyards are covered in ivy, creating an unparalleled, serene space cherished by people.
