「most」と「almost」の違い

most : 大部分の（形容詞か副詞）

almost : 何かが起こりそうだが、まだ起こっていない（副詞）

最近は地震が多いですね、明け方ちょっと揺れることが多い気がします。オーストラリア周辺で大きい地震が起きると1か月後に日本でも連動して大きい地震が起きる確率が高いそうです。2月末にパプアニューギニア周辺で大きい地震があったので3月末頃に地震がくるのでは。。。と日々怯えながら生きております。。しっかり備えていきましょう～！

Most and almost are two different words that have different meanings and uses.

Almostは、「ほぼ」「かなり」という意味の副詞で、「何かが起こりそうだが、まだ起こっていない」ことを示すのに使われます。例えば、「I almost missed my flight」は、「飛行機に乗り遅れる寸前まで行ったが、最終的には乗り遅れなかった」という意味です。
