Day 1 Welcome Home

おかえりなさいませ、旦那様。奥様。

本日は、お客様がお見えになる予定でしたので、朝から客間の窓を磨き、暖炉の上の銀食器も丁寧に磨きました。

素敵なケーキをシェフが作ってくれましたよ。お昼の３時にお持ちいたします。

窓越しに差し込む光が少しだけ明るくなったようで、屋敷まで嬉しそうに見えました。

小さなことでも、心を込めると景色は少しずつ変わるものですね。

Welcome home.

Today we were expecting visitors, so I spent the morning polishing the windows in the drawing room and shining the silverware above the fireplace.

When the sunlight came through the clean glass, the whole house seemed a little happier.

Even small acts of care can brighten the world around us.
