a little bird told me

Once upon a time, there was a boy who liked going to talk to his friends.

昔々、あるところに友達と話すことが好きな少年がいました。

His name is Peter.
少年の名前は、ピータ。

He talked 100 friends ,100 times everyday.
ピータは１００人の友達と、１００回、毎日お話をしていました。

Every his friend found joyful of his talking, so they would come to him when they happened to see him outside.
その少年の友達の皆は、少年を話を聞いて楽しんでいました。友達は外で少年を見つけると、少年の所へ近づいて行きました。

One day, he heard a very interesting story from one of his friends.

ある日、少年はとても面白い話を、少年のともだちから耳にしたのです。

It was about Jon, who was his friend.
それは少年の友達のジョンの話でした。

He thought,

"Wow, this is a really fun story. I must let my other friend know it! They will surely be surprised!"

少年は思いました。

「なんて面白い話なんだろう。皆にも教えなきゃ！絶対に驚くぞ！」

So he went around to his 100 friends to tell this story.

"Hey, my friend!! Guess what. A little bird told me..."
そして少年はその話を伝える為、少年の１００人の友達に合いに動き回りました。

「やぁ！聞いて聞いて！噂によると、、、」

After while, he had spoken the very interesting story 100 times.

"Wow, that is a funny story!" said his 100 friends.
暫くして、少年は１００回その面白い話をしました。
「へぇー。面白い話だね。」と少年の１００人の友達が答えました。

He found they enjoyed listening to it.
少年は友達がその話を聞いて楽しんでいると思いました。

Next day, Peter ,as usual, got outside and walked around downtown, looking for any of his friends to talk.
次の日、少年はいつものように外に出て、街を散歩していました。誰かお話ができる友達を探していました。

He bumped into one and  begun to talk as always.

少年は友達と出会しました。いつものようにお話を始めました。

The friend brought in about Emily, who is one of  Peter's friends.
その友達は、少年の友達のエミリーの話題を持ちかけました。

"Wow, this is a really fun story, too. I must let my other friend know it. They will surely be surprised."

「なんて面白い話なんだろう。皆にも教えなきゃ！絶対に驚くぞ！」

So he ran around to his 100 friends to tell this story,

"Hi, buddy. You are not gonna believe this.A little bird told me..."

そして少年はその話を伝える為、少年の１００人の友達に合いに走り回りました。
「おーい！すごい話聞いたよ！噂によると、、、」

After while, he spoke the very interesting story 100 times.

"Wow, I am very curious about the story. Tell me more!" said his 100 friends.

暫くして、少年は１００回その面白い話をしました。
「えぇ！？ 本当なの、その話！？もっと聞かせて！」と少年の１００人の友達が答えました。

He was satisfied with what he had done because of many joyfulness of his 100 friends that he had felt.
少年の１００人の友達がたくさんの楽しみを感じたと思い、少年は満足しました。

And next day, Peter got outside to look for some interesting story.
そして次の日、少年は何か面白い話を探しに外へ出ました。

Peter spotted two his friends talking.
少年は２人の友達が会話をしているところを見つけました。

He sneaked close to them trying without letting any of two notice, and quietly listened.
少年は気づかれぬよう、こっそりとその友達に近づき、ひっそりと友達の会話を聞きました。

they was talking about Kim.

その友達はキムの事を話していました。

"Wow, this is a really fun story, too. I love to let my other fiend know it. They will surely be surprised."

「なんて面白い話なんだろう。よぉーし、皆に教えてやるぞ！！！絶対に驚くぞ！」

So he drove himself to tell this story to his 100 friends.

"How do you do, gentleman and lady. Today, I brought to you an enthralling story. You can not miss it. A little bird tole me...."

少年は歯止めが効かない暴れ馬の様に、少年の１００人の友達にその面白い話をしまいした。

「御機嫌よう。お天道様も今日もご機嫌よろしゅう様で。今日私は世にも奇妙な話をもって参りました。聞き逃さずべからず。噂によりますと、、、。」

After while, he spoke the very interesting story 100 times.

"Wow, No way!! I can not believe it!! I'm all ears!!"

暫くして、少年は１００回その面白い話をしました。
「本当に！？信じられない！？詳しくもっと聞かせて！！」

After all, he felt that he had done something accomplished.
１００人の少年に伝え終え、少年は何かを成し遂げた様に感じました。

Day by day, he did it to his 100 friends a day,100 times a day,  100 days every day.
来る日も少年は、１００人の少年の友達に、１００回話を、１００日毎日しました。

The 100th day had been passed.
１００日目が過ぎ。

When Peter enjoyed having a nice good afternoon tea in his house, he heard someone knock on the door.
少年は素敵な午後のお茶の時間を堪能していました。その時、ドアが叩かれる音が聞こえました。

It was Jon."How's it going? Would you like to have some nice afternoon tea with me?I got this special tea and amazing little sweet,too. Just come in, please.".said Peter.

「やぁ！元気かい？一緒に素敵な午後のお茶をしないかい？美味しい紅茶と、ちょっとしたお茶のおつまみもあるんだ。中へ入って一緒に楽しもう。」

と少年は言いました。
