TOEICリスニングのPart2でよく出るひっかけについて取り上げています！

はいっ、では今日も気合いを入れてWritingいってみま～～SHOW！
今回のテーマは「Building Infrastractures（建築インフラ）」についてです！
あれ・・ちょっと今回はやめておこうかな・・って思ってたりしてます？笑
なんか、「建築インフラ」って聞くとたしかになじみなさ気なんですけど、
質問自体は思ったよりだいぶ答えやすかったので、ちょっとだけでも挑戦してみてほしいなと思います！
わたしの書いた文章の日本語訳も入れておくので、書くネタがないという方はぜひそちらを英訳することでWriting練習に替えていただければと思います！

Part１
1. What type of buildings can be seen in your city?
（あなたの街ではどんな種類の建物が見られますか？）
(日本語）
古くて日本の伝統的な家を見ることができます。どれも茶色か黒です。高さは低いです。それらの家の中を見学することができます。小さいので入場料は１ドルです。それに、古民家が建ち並ぶ通りには、古くて大きな銀行がある。創業してからまだ１００年しか経っていないが、近代的な感じがする。また、天井は吹き抜けになっている。現在は展示会やコンサートに使われている。
（英訳）
You can see some old and Japanese traditional houses. They are all brown or black. The height of it is low. We can tour the inside of them. The admission fee is only one dollar because it is small. Besides, there is an old and big bank on the street where the old houses are situated. It has been just one hundred since it established, though, it looks modern. Also, the ceiling is a stairwell. Now, it is used for an exhibition or a concert.
2. Are there some old buildings in your hometown?

間違いなくあります。私の故郷には、1.でお話ししたように、歴史的な建物がたくさんあります。お寺だけでなく、神社もあります。私はこの古風で趣のある町の雰囲気が大好きです。

Undoubtfully, there are. My hometown has a lot of historical buildings as I mentioned in No,1. There are not only many temples but also some shrines. I love this old and quaint atmosphere in my town.
3. Are these buildings still possible to use at present?
（それらの建物は現在もなお使うことが可能ですか？）
（日本語）
もちろん、博物館やコンサートの会場として利用しています。中を見ることができるのはいい機会ですよね。興味を持ってもらえるかもしれません。中学生の時に地元の古い銀行の中を見学したことがあります。古いトイレや保管庫など、見たことのない部屋がたくさんあって惹かれました。何度も何度も行きましたが、行くたびにワクワクしてしまいました。久しぶりに行ってみたいと思います。

Of course, we use them as a museum or a venue for a concert. It is an excellent opportunity to see inside of them. It might make people interested in them. I experienced to tour in an old bank in my hometown when I was in junior high school. I was attracted to it because there are many rooms I had never seen, for instance, an old toilet and a depository. I went there again and again, but I got excited whenever I went there. I want to visit there for the first time in a while.
4. In choosing a place to live, do you consider the structure or the design of the house?
（住む場所を選ぶとしたら、あなたは構造とデザインどちらを熟慮しますか？）

構造よりもデザインを重視しています。おしゃれな家を見るのが好きです。そうやって家のデザインを学んでいます。シンプルでモダンで広くて自然豊かな家に住みたいです。

Definitely, I consider the design more seriously than the structure. I like looking at stylish houses. I learn the designs of a house by doing that. I want to live in a simple, modern, wide, and rich nature house.
5. Is the place where you live right now a new building or an old one?
（あなたが今住んでいる場所は新しい建物ですか、古い建物ですか？）
（日本語）
はい、新築に住んでいますが、極端に新しい家ではありません。築7年ですが、まだ清潔で衛生的です。それに加えて、高機能なんですよ。例えば、断熱材が入っていて、地震からも守ってくれます。
（英訳）
Yes, I live in a new house, though, it is not extremely new. It has been seven years since it built, but It is still clean and sanitary. Besides it has the high-level functions. For instance, it got insulation and it has the protection from an earthquake.

Describe an interesting building in your country.

東京にある「スカイツリー」です。日本で一番高いタワーです。その高さは634メートルです。その中には、たくさんのお店やレストラン、娯楽施設があります。例えば、水族館やプラネタリウムがあります。一番の魅力は展望台です。特に夜の景色は絵になる。夜景はとても印象的でロマンチックです。そのため、昼間は家族連れが多く、逆に夜はカップルが多く訪れています。綺麗な写真をたくさん撮ることができます。多くの人がインスタグラムに投稿しています。また、展望台には風変わりな写真が撮れる特別な場所があります。その場所は、床の一部が透明なタイルになっています。その上に立ちながらスリリングな景色を見ることができるんです。私は高いところが好きなので、タワーに登るときはいつもその上に立ってワクワクするようにしています。

It is "the Sky Tree" which is located in Tokyo. It is the highest tower in Japan. Its height is 634 meters. There are a lot of shops, restaurants, and entertaining places in it. For example, it has an aquarium and a planetarium. The main attraction of it is the observatory. The scenery is picturesque, in particular, at night. The night view is very impressive and romantic. So, there are many families in the daytime, on the other hand, many couples visit there at night. We can take a lot of beautiful pictures. Many people have posted them on Instagram. Besides, there is a special place in the observatory where we can take eccentric pictures. The place has a transparent tile as a part of the floor. We can see the thrilling view while standing on it. I like heights, so I always try to stand on it and get excited when I climb the tower.

1. What can you say about the engineering quality of your country?
（あなたの国では土木工事の質についてなにが言えますか？）

質は高いと思います。たくさんの建設会社があります。そのおかげで品質が上がってきていると思います。そのおかげで、品質が上がってきています。特に地震に対する保証については、潜在的な購入者のほとんどが心配しているので、エンジニアリングは特にしっかりとしています。
（英訳）
I believe the quality is high. There are lots of construction company. They have been competing with each other. So, thanks to that, the quality has been increasing. The engineering especially makes sure of the assurance for earthquake because most potential buyer concern about that.
2. Do you think infrastructure projects should be prioritized by the government in your country?
（あなたの国では政府がインフラ計画を優先させるべきだと思いますか？）
（日本語）
確かにそうだと思います。私たちに直接関係することなので、国民にとって必要不可欠なものです。例えば、電気が急に止まってしまったら、私たちは大変な思いをすることになります。つまり、インフラが安定していて安心して暮らせるということです。
（英訳）
Indeed, I think so. It is essential for people because it is related to us directly. For instance, we would be suffering from the situation if the electricity stopped suddenly. In other words, we can live comfortably thanks to that the infrastructure is steady and reliable.
3. There is a proverb that says, "In every building, there is a story." Do you agree?
（このような格言があります。「すべての建物にはストーリーがある。」あなたはこれに賛成ですか？）
（日本語）
もちろん、私はこれに同意します。建物を建てるには多くのステップがあります。まず、建築について話し合って設計図を作る。それはもう大変な作業です。それに加えて、長い時間をかけて建築する必要があります。それはそれを完成させるために多くの仕事量を必要とします。そして、建物が完成したときの満足感は大きい。それに、完成した後も、そこに人が住んでいる限り、物語は続いていく。
（英訳）
Absolutely, I agree with this. There are many steps to establish a building. Firstly, we need to discuss about the architecture and make a blueprint. It is already tough task. Besides, we need to build it, spending a long time. It needs a lot of workload to finish it. Then we feel substantial satisfaction when we can get the building completed. Besides, the story will continue after finishing it as long as people live there.

わたしは中学生の頃、よく行っていた古い建物を思い出して懐かしい気持ちになりました。
