No matter how insightful we are, no matter how hard we try to reflect on ourselves, we can never discover who we truly are. This is what Buddhism teaches. Because we are biased and conceited, we can't see ourselves properly. Buddhism teaches us that we can only see ourselves as we really are by looking in the Mirror of Dharma (Buddhism).
