今日（9月15日）はほぼ一日

ブログ執筆に費やしました^^

その割に

たくさん書けた気がしない……。

あ、そうか。

あいだに約2時間の料理タイムが

入っているからだ。

（これはほぼ毎日）

I spent almost all day to write blog articles today.

But I don't feel I managed to write a lot. . .

Oh, got it!

That's because I forgot the 2-hour cooking time.

routine：ルーティン。

綴りを覚えた！

発音はiの部分に

アクセントが来るらしい。

でもあとで振り返ると

より

のほうが自然な英語でしたね。

今日のポイント◎

manage to：なんとか……する

the 2-hour cooking time：

"It takes 2 hours to cook them"

などと言う時は"2 hours"でOK。

「2時間の料理タイム」「7歳の娘」

などと言う時は

"2-hour cooking time"

"7-year-old daughter"

になります。"s"入れない。

ハイフンは

しばしば省略されるそうです。
