The more you talk about why you hate someone, the more unbearable it becomes to even think about them. On the other hand, if you discover their good points, you will gradually stop disliking them, and if you try to praise them, your mind will change to respect them even more.
To say or think in your minds is to plant seeds of karma. There are three karmas, or ‘deeds’: Deeds of the body, deeds of the mouth, and deeds of the mind. That’s physical deeds, verbal deeds, and mental deeds.
When we plant good seeds, whether anyone is watching or not, flowers of happiness will surely bloom, but if we plant bad seeds, flowers of unhappiness will also bloom.
