【本問題】次の日本文を英訳して下さい。

１、この本を昨日、君に返すつもりでいたのですが、忘れました。

（解答例）I intended to have returned this book to you yesterday, but I forgot.

２、彼は何を、いつ、どうすべきかを知っている。

（解答例）He knows what to do, when to do, and how.

way.

14、書籍部（the book department）を通って行く途中、何年も会わなかった旧友に出くわしてびっくりしました。

department, I was surprised to meet (あるいはcome across) an old 

friend of mine, whom I hadn’t seen for years.

（解説）I met, to my surprise, an old…と比べて下さい。

15、あまりにも寒くて寝付かれませんでした。
