can't be bother to

There is a family of 3 people which lives in a rural area.
あるところに、田舎の町で３人家族が住んでいました。

A father, mother and boy. The parents are too busy working their vast and boundless farm to take good care of their kid.
父親、母親そして男の子。父親と母親はとても忙しく男の子の面倒をあまり良く見れていません。

At any point, the boy has got a sound mind. And he feel not lonely that he even don't share his time with his parents. Because he's got these friends.

しかしながら、男の子は健全的です。父と母と過ごす時間は少ないものの、男の子はそんなに寂しくは感じていません。

When he comes at the stream, his friends of fish will splash out of the water to say hello.
男の子が小川に行けば、友達の魚君達が水しぶきを上げて、水から出てきて挨拶をしてくれる。

As at the forest, his friends of deer will leap out of the bush to give a polite bow.
森では、友達の鹿くん達が茂みから跳び出して、丁寧なお辞儀をしてくれる。

Likewise on the top of the tall tree near his house, his friends of birds will plunge from the sky to sing expressing their gladness to see him.

同じように、木の天辺では、友達の鳥くん達がそらから舞い降りて、男の子に会えた喜びを歌で表現してくれる。

His life goes peacefully slow , and there has been nothing trouble.
彼の生活は平和にゆっくりと進んでいます。

However there is only some drawback in him. It's his laziness.

しかし、男の子には欠点があります。彼の怠けです。

His favorite phrase is " I can't be bother".

彼の口癖は「やる気がしない」です。

When his father tells him to put his toys away after his playing time.
男の子が遊んだ後に、おもちゃの片付けをしなさいと父親が伝えても。

He will say "I can't be bother to put away my toys right now. Maybe later".
「今からすぐにおもちゃを片付ける気がしないよ。後でするよ。」と言うばかりです。

While his mother tells him to do his homework before his night time.

一方で、寝る前に宿題をしなさいと母親が伝えても。

He will say "I can't be bother to do my homework now. Perhaps tomorrow's morning."

「今から宿題をする気がしないよ。明日の朝するよ。」と言うばかりです。

Even his class mate tells him to give back the mate's belonging that he has borrowed the other day.
貸した物を返してと、学校のクラスの子が伝えても。

He will say "I can't be bother to give it back today,Probably tomorrow I will do."「今日は返したい気がしないよ。明日返すよ。」と言うばかりです。

But these things have never come into practice according to his words.
しかし、男の子の言葉の通りになることは１度もありませんでした。

Actually they usually realize 2 hours later, 2 mornings later or 2 weeks later.

実際には２時間後、明後日の朝、又は２週間後に実現するのがいつもの事です。

So every one around him thinks he is very lazy and not trust his word.

その為、男の子の周りの人は、男の子はとても怠け者で、男の子の言葉を信じません。
