【準1ライティング便利表現㉜】candid

英検準1級の単語問題でよく出てくるコレ。

canとdidで could みたいに感じますが、「率直な」というまるで違う意味になります。

frank（フランクな）みたいに使えるので、英検ライティングでは以下のような感じかなと思います。

As we get older, the number of coworkers who give candid opinions decreases, therefore, regular communication and close relationship with them are necessary.

（歳を取るにつれて率直な意見を言ってくれる同僚は減るので、彼らとの定期的な会話や密接な関係は必要不可欠である。）

Japanese companies should hire more foreign workers and hold regular discussions where candid ideas and viewpoints can be exchanged for the prosperity of the companies.

（日本企業は自社の繁栄のため、もっと外国人労働者を雇って、率直な意見や見解が交わされる議論を定期的に行うべきである。）

2つ目の例文なんかは丸々覚えておけば、外国人労働者のTOPICで使えそうですね。
