イギリス育ちで英語を第一言語として育ちました。高等教育を終えた後、翻訳者になるという夢を追うため、日本に来ました。 翻訳に関しては、原作の内容はもちろん、独特なニュアンスや特殊な言い回し等、日本語独特の表現を、意味の似ている最適なネイティブ英語の表現にし、違和感のない綺麗な翻訳にすることを目指しています。 ビジネス文書に関しては、英語形式(海外でのビジネス文書の形式)に特化しています。 Raised in the UK and after attending higher education, moved to Japan to pursue a career in professional translation. In terms of translation style, I aim to convey as much of the nuance and personality of the work received, while also incorporating native phrases that correspond as closely as possible with Japanese expressions when required. As for corporate and business documents, more emphasis will be made in insuring the translated product is in keeping with the formal writing style of English speaking countries.
