An online event to replace Sapporo's winter festival, the Sapporo Snow Festival, which was effectively cancelled this year, has started.

A special website has been set up with a variety of contents, including a section that looks back at the large snow sculptures that were created up until last year with photos.

There is also a 360-degree camera image of Odori Park at the time of the festival, allowing visitors to experience the excitement of the festival.

In addition, there is a video showing the process of making snow sculptures and a photo contest.
