第40回さっぽろホワイトイルミネーション

The 40th Sapporo White Illumination, which colors the beginning of winter in Hokkaido, is now open for business.

The place is Odori Park in Sapporo City.

It has been a winter feature of Sapporo since 1981.

To prevent the spread of a new type of coronavirus, no food or drink will be sold this year, and the only illumination will be provided.

The citizens who came to see the festival were cheering as they were showered with the fantastic lights of 730,000 LED bulbs.
