質問１→テキスト「げんき」の中の”dictionary form”とは何か？

質問２→「行く」と「来る」の違いは？

Dictionary form means the original form, I guess.

You know, like English, “have” is original form and it can change according to tense. On the other hand, Japanese verbs will change according to whether they are negative or positive. If you want to say “go”「行く」,「行く」is original form.

 If you say “I will go” or “I go”(affirmative=Yes, I go.), you say 「行きます」(「ます」is added.) 

Whereas, if you want to say “I don’t go” or “I won’t go”, you say 「行きません」(negative= I don’t go/won’t go).

For example, 

A: 今日学校行きますか？(Will you go to school today?)

B: 行きます。(Yes, I will.)

OR

B: 行きません。(No, I won’t.)

A: 今日うちに来ますか？(Are you coming to my house today?)

B: 行きます。(Yes, I will.)

※「行く」= you go to somewhere. (You are leaving here and going to another place.)

「来る」=someone will come to your place.(Someone will leave their place and come to see you.)

例①

A：カラオケ行く？(Shall we go to karaoke?)

B：いいね！行こう！(Sounds great! Let’s go!)

例②

A：今日家に行ってもいい？(Can I come to your house today?)

B：いいよ！おいでよ！ゲームやろう！(Sure! Come on! Let’s play a game!)

例③

A：台湾に行ったことはありません。(I have never been to Taiwan.)

B：ぜひ、来てください！(Please come!)
